Audio Interconnects Each Ecosse interconnect - analogue and digital - offers a genuine improvement on its predecessor. With each cable upgrade 'noise' is progressively reduced and dynamic range increased, which improves the overall performance of your system in terms of sound stage, clarity, detail, focus, high and low frequency extension - bringing you ever closer to the music as the artist who performed it intended it to be heard. All Audio Interconnects are supplied in Stereo Pairs. |

Speaker Cable Ecosse Reference Cables are designed to provide a family of sound and a straightforward upgrade path. Every Ecosse cable is lovingly designed to max. The performance of your system in fullfillment of your listening experience. Ecosse Loud Speaker Cables consist of either woven multi-stranded or 'solidcore' conductors (see technical) which are insulated then twisted, (twisting the conductors greatly reduces capacitance and inductance) in a precision helix, laid in a substantial bed of cotton yarn, bound with paper and surrounded in a soft PVC sheath. Conductor material may be Super-Monocrystal™, Monocrystal™, Ultrafine™ or UHP-OFC. All Pre-terminated Speaker Cables are supplied in stereo pairs. Un-terminated cable is supplied by the meter. |

Digital Interconnects Coaxial cable is the preferred option for connecting 'transport' to DAC; or between DVD player and digital amp/receiver for AC3/DTS signal transmission- and using S/PDIF-the 75-ohm Sony and Philips Digital Interphase Format. We offer the choice of three high quality, multi award-winning digital interconnects -different prices to suit your budget yet ensuring that whichever one you choose it will maximise the potential of your system whether they be less expensive hi-fi/home cinema set ups, mid-fi, or reference standard systems |

Power Cords We've experimented with various premium power cords, and we've reached an important conclusion: the cheap power cords included with even expensive audio gear are trash. At the most basic level the first thing to do is to replace your standard mains cables-they're kettle leads for goodness sake- with Ecosse Powerchords™ and so make sure the mains sockets feeding your system can do their job correctly. Euro plugs are available as a no cost option, just add the euro plug item to your shopping basket. |

HDMI / DVI The future is here-the future for video+audio connection between BluRay?DVD/PC and Display Device that is! HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is the first industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface ie it combines high-definition video and multi-channel audio in a single digital interface to provide crystal-clear digital quality over a single cable, and the Ecosse HDMI Picture- Perfect™ cables offer the purest signal transfer at prices that will astonish. HDMI outperforms DVI by a fair margin, as the HDMI chips are better at transmitting and receiving than previous generations of DVI chips. |

AudioVisual Patently home cinema systems require a combination of audio, digital and video signals. Cunning use of our superior, award-winning Monocrystal™ conductor material, in the 'going' conductor (only) of our higher-graded A/V interconnects provides for better colour density and sharper, brighter video pictures quality (and audio, where appropriate) at a very low cost-per-performance ratio. Our dedicated RGB Scarts offer either a combination of highest-grade Monocrystal™/OFC audio & video conductors or a more cost effective all-OFC variant. Alternatively we offer an ARMAGEDDON VIDEOPHILE-grade scart option which combats the problem of intermodulation and electromagnetic interference, (which normally occurs between two different types of signal) by using the highest-grade coax-video conductors only, and deleting any audio conductors/transmission. |

Component Video. The primary purpose of a component video cable is to carry the pulsed square wave high frequency AC video signals from source to TV/plasma/projector. Ecosse component cables ensure this transfer is carried out with the minimum of interference, signal loss, and signal degradation. With each cable upgrade 'noise' is progressively reduced resulting in an increasingly improved picture at your monitor end. |
